Australia's seven state and territory motoring clubs provide services to motorists and other road users. They also advocate at a state level for better roads and safer, fairer, more affordable motoring.
They are among the most-trusted organisations in Australia.
In 1924, the state motoring clubs established the AAA to help coordinate activities nationally, lobby the Commonwealth Government, and represent Australian motoring interests internationally.
The AAA is the peak organisation for Australia’s motoring clubs and their 9.3 million members.
The association’s constituent clubs are the NRMA, RACV, RACQ, RAA, RAC, RACT and the AANT.
